Can anyone recommend a good crop of ports for a wedding?
I give this as a wedding gift that you can drink your Birthday 10 or 20. Every site I read the wine is trying to sell their inventory and description of each account how this wine is special. Nobody here has experience in this department? Just under $ 70 because it is not the only gift I give. Thank you!
According to my Port-loving husband, can not go wrong with a Warre, Dow, or Taylor Fladgate, Vintage '86 or '91. They are drinking now but will continue to age well for the next two decades at least. The Dow 86 may be found for $ 65 – $ 75, if you browse around. The '91 is a little cheaper, but not much, so I get 86 if you can. What a wonderful gift idea – I'm sure they will love it.
