Help with room 10 feet from my room ceiling'd? The walls are so bare and the furniture seems mini – too?
This is a small room, perhaps 12 x 12, with a French door (a small sun room), the stairs leading to second floor, and 2 tickets. Ten ft. May not seem much, but they are a challenge. How can I decorate the top 2 / 3 of this piece? It is bright yellow with a crystal chandelier …… to entry, there are 2 round columns, it is also 10 feet high, suggestions for heating things? I have hardwood floors … thank you!
I saw high ceilings care of two ways. 1) The document of the border painted across not too intrusive, or 2) Buy some molding around nice place perimeter of the room near the ceiling. Drop it 1 1 / 2 to 2 feet and paint the molding and the upper part of the same color as the ceiling. The second would be my choice for you in the hall, with columns and chandelier sounds rather formal solarium Good luck … sounds like a nice room!
