Has anyone had a Disney Fairytale Wedding at Disneyland in Anaheim?
I try to learn more about your experiences history (good and bad) people have had with the wedding at Disneyland. I am interested to experience the park, but you want to know about weddings in the hotel too. Thank you!
My husband and I were married in Disneyland in October 2007. Our ceremony wedding took place at the Rose Garden Court at the Disneyland Hotel, with reception at the pavilion of Sleeping Beauty at the hotel itself. It was beautiful and memorable. Prices are less steep than you want to go really extravagant. We live in Arizona and found that it would pay the same price in a beautiful hotel on site. Yes, there were additional costs for travel, but it was worth. We had a small guest list, only 45 guests, and the morning of the wedding. We spent less than $ 20 000 for all (photo, video, Reverend, flowers, food, etc..) For a wedding park, spending minimum you have to spend is $ 40 000 if I remember. Do prices rise each year so that should be checked. You also have to wait their marriage, after hours park and must use only Disney for its flowers, DJ, and a few other things. If you marry at the hotel, you can use flowers outside firms and other vendors (except food and cake). I could go on and on about it. The best thing I did was join girlfriends Disneyland and Disneyland Group Group Marriages by Yahoo. You can obtain information on previous girlfriends, like me, and those who plan their marriage. Both are excellent resources for planning your wedding, or simply for information, as you do now. I hope I answered your question.
